Getting Sedona-Ready: What to Expect on Our October Soul Retreat
There's something about fall in Sedona that I just can't get enough of. I love walking through town and glancing over at that gorge that runs alongside the creek — the trees are bursting with color, the air turns crisp, and the whole place feels golden. It's easily my favorite time of year there.
After working many guiding trips to the Grand Canyon and finishing in Sedona, I've been coming here for years. And that's exactly why I chose October 1–4, 2026, for our Sedona Soul Retreat.
As we approach our early bird deadline on August 31, I've been getting questions about what the retreat actually looks like day to day. So here's what you can expect.
The Home Base
We aren't staying in a sterile hotel. We've secured a beautiful private estate that sits right in the heart of the red rocks. Imagine waking up and walking out to the patio to see first light hitting those stunning red rock formations. The house is our sanctuary.
Because we keep this to a very small group, there's a beautiful balance of community and privacy. You can find a quiet corner with a book, or join the group in the kitchen for a slow morning coffee. By the second night, the strangers you met at the airport feel like friends you've known for years. Or maybe you'll find yourself by the fire pit as the sun goes down, wrapped in good conversation and that quiet desert stillness.
The Rhythm of Our Days
I've designed this retreat to be nourishing, not exhausting. We aren't here to check boxes.
Each morning begins with a wellness class or just getting out in nature. It's accessible, empowering, and always optional.
One of the true highlights of the retreat is our Indigenous-led sacred walk at sunset. We'll be guided by someone who holds a deep, ancestral connection to this land, walking quiet paths as the sun dips low and paints the red rocks in shades of amber and rose. It's one of those experiences that often leaves guests speechless — a quiet, grounding moment you can't find anywhere else.
We also have a private Jeep tour to experience Sedona's famous vortexes. Parking in Sedona is really challenging at the vortex sites, so traveling in comfort with the Jeep means we can see more and do more without the hassle.
Then as the stars come out, we'll settle onto the patio for a sound bath. I'll guide us through an evening of crystal singing bowls, chimes, and gentle percussion — each note washing through you, loosening the grip of the day. There's nothing quite like lying back under a canopy of Arizona stars, letting those vibrations settle deep into your bones. It's the kind of reset that lingers long after the last note fades.
Exploring the Town
I've made sure to include free time for you to explore the local boutiques, art galleries, and crystal shops. Whether you want to find a unique piece of turquoise jewelry or just sit in a cafe and people-watch, the rhythm of the trip allows for those personal detours.
The Logistics: Stress-Free from the Start
I know the "how do I get there?" part of travel can be the most stressful. So we take care of the details. Your retreat includes:
Round-trip airport transfers: We'll meet you at Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) and bring you directly to our Sedona estate.
All ground transportation: Once you're with us, you don't have to worry about navigating, parking, or rental cars.
A Cultural Concierge: I'll be on the ground with you, managing every detail so you can simply be present.
Is This for You?
This retreat is for anyone who wants to step away from the noise for a few days. Whether you're looking for a deep reset, a fun getaway with a friend, or just time in a beautiful place — Sedona delivers.
